Benign Tumors

The term Benign is used to indicate that a particular tumor is unlikely to spread to other parts of the body. Benign tumors can still be a significant problem, depending upon their location, size, adjacent structures, blood supply and other factors.

Benign tumors vary in size and are found both internally on the intestinal, utethral, genital passage lining and externally anywhere on the skin. They often arise from an excessive growth of fat cells. Benign tumors can be unsightly and in some case lead to cancer.

Symptoms of benign tumors are a lump or bulge seen or felt under the skin (usually moveable).

Causes of benign tumors are internal toxicity and infection, diet containing excess acid or mucous forming foods and poor assimilation (digestion) of fats.

Grapefruit Seed Extract

Benign tumors: Mix (?) of grapefruit seed extract in 1 TBS. of olive, almond, sesame or avocado oil. Rub on 2 or 3 times daily. Especially if the growth is increasing in size. If this mix is irritating to the skin, add a little more oil, if necessary.
