Halitosis Causes

 

Halitosis (bad breath) is caused by poor diet, poor food digestion, and rotting food and bacteria formation that the body throws off through the breath. Warning signs may be dry mouth and bitter metal taste, morning breath and a sour taste in the mouth.

Symptoms of halitosis is a bad taste in the mouth and mouth odor, Post nasal drip, white round globs in tonsils, feeling like a lump in the throat and constantly clearing your throat.

Other halitosis causes are a poor diet with a green vegetable deficiency, poor digestion, enzyme deficiency, inadequate protein digestion, leading to indigestion. Poor mouth or body hygiene, sluggish intestinal system and chronic constipation, stress and anxiety. Gum disease and tooth decay, food intolerance, HCI deficiency, low grade chronic throat infection. Smoking, liver malfunction, post-nasal drip from a chronic sinus infection, candida yeast infection and some medications. Coffee, dairy products, sugars, spicy foods and dieting. Certain blood pressure medication, antidepressant medication, antihistamine medication and cold medication can cause bad breath.

Bad breath could be an indicator of a more serious internal problem such as, Diabetes, liver disease, Kidney disease, and Bronchial infection.
