In acute cases, the dosage can be increased without ill effects. But the wisest course is to increase frequency of the dosage rather the increase the size of dose by more the 2 or 3 times. Add to food once a day for a week. Repeat after 2 weeks and then again after 4 weeks and then give maintenance dose below if necessary.

Maintenance: Can be given as a preventative dose on a regular basis. The dose should be about half as much as for the treatment of the disease or condition you were treating. This is also good for coat and skin health. Continue maintenance for 6 weeks ON and 2 weeks OFF but no longer than necessary to treat the condition!
